What documentation do I need for a Spain–UK move?
Since Brexit, moving personal belongings between Spain and the UK requires customs documentation. You'll need to complete a Transfer of Residence (ToR) form with HMRC to import household goods duty-free. We work with partner freight brokers who can advise on documentation. The physical move — loading, transport, and unloading — is handled end to end by our team. Contact us at least three weeks before your planned move date to allow time for paperwork.
Do you do part-load moves from Madrid?
Yes. If you have a small quantity of items (a few boxes and small furniture, not a full flat), we offer part-load pricing on some routes. This involves your items sharing van space with another customer's load on the same route. Part-load moves take longer to schedule (we need to match loads going in the same direction) but are significantly cheaper. Ask us about part-load availability when you get in touch.

Madrid to Valencia (A-3) is approximately 360km and 3.5–4 hours drive. Madrid to Seville (A-4) is approximately 540km and 5–5.5 hours. Both routes are straightforward motorway driving. We typically complete Valencia moves in a single day. Seville moves can be done in a long day or with an overnight stop, depending on the quantity being moved.
Is my load the only one on the van?
For full-load bookings, yes — your items are the only load on the van. The van loads at your Madrid address and goes directly to your destination. We do not pick up additional loads en route. For part-load options (shared loads), we'll be explicit about this when quoting so you know what to expect.
