Can you operate inside the Madrid ZBE (Zona de Bajas Emisiones)?
Yes. All our vans hold the required DGT environmental label to operate freely inside the Madrid Zero Emissions Zone, which covers roughly everything inside the M-30. This includes Salamanca, Chamberí, Retiro, Lavapiés, Malasaña, Moncloa, and all central districts. Unlicensed operators cannot legally enter the ZBE — always confirm this before booking any van service in central Madrid.
How quickly can you send a man and van in Madrid?
Most local Madrid jobs can be booked for the same day or next day. Contact us before midday and there's a good chance we can arrange an afternoon slot. Weekend availability books up faster, so booking a day ahead is wise for Saturday and Sunday jobs. For urgent same-day requests, call us directly on 020 3318 4720.
What happens if my Madrid building has no lift?
Many pre-1960 buildings in Lavapiés, La Latina, Malasaña, and parts of Chamberí have no lift or very small lifts. We handle this regularly and always ask about floor number and lift access when quoting. For no-lift buildings, we bring stair-climbing equipment and factor the extra time into the price. There are no surprise surcharges on the day.
Do I need to help with loading and unloading?
No. Our driver handles all loading and unloading as standard. If you'd prefer to load yourself to reduce costs, we offer a self-loading rate. Just specify this when booking. Most expat customers prefer the full-service option so they can focus on other parts of their move.
