How It Works

1

Tell us your uni and moving dates

Let us know which university you're at, your current address, destination address, and a rough inventory (how many boxes, any large furniture). We match the van size to what you actually have — no paying for unused space.

2

Get your student quote

We provide a fixed student rate based on your specific move. Partial loads (moving out of a shared flat — just your room) are priced separately from full flat moves.

3

Moving day

Our driver arrives at your flat on time. We load your room contents carefully, label boxes if needed, and handle building access including stair-carry for no-lift buildings common in student areas like Lavapiés and Malasaña.

4

Delivered to your new place

We deliver to your new address and unload everything in your new room. For longer-term storage between academic years, ask about our storage add-on.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the busiest period for student moves in Madrid?

The two main peaks are: late September to early October (new academic year move-ins across all Madrid universities) and late June to mid-July (lease-end move-outs when most tenancy agreements expire). The UCM academic year typically starts in the second week of September — international students often arrive one to two weeks before term. IE Business School has a January intake as well. Book at least two weeks ahead for September and July slots.

I'm only moving my room from a shared flat — can you do a partial load?

Yes. Partial loads (moving just your bedroom and personal items from a shared flat) are one of our most frequent student requests. You're not paying for space you don't use. A typical student room move — clothes, bedding, a few boxes, maybe a small desk chair — fits in an LWB van and takes 1.5–2 hours. Fixed price from €80 for a local Madrid partial-room move.

Which university areas do you know well?

We cover all four major Madrid university clusters: UCM (Ciudad Universitaria campus, Moncloa district, postcode 28040), UAM (Cantoblanco in northern Madrid, postcode 28049), UC3M (Leganés and Getafe campuses, postcodes 28911 and 28903), and IE Business School (Salamanca district, postcode 28006). We know the local parking restrictions, building access patterns, and typical flat stock around each campus.

I'm an international student moving to Madrid for the first time — what do I need to know?

Most international students arrive with a reasonable amount of luggage but not full furniture. Madrid flats are usually furnished, so you mainly need to move personal items, clothes, books, and small electronics. An LWB van is usually sufficient. If you're buying furniture at IKEA Vallecas or Alcorcón to set up your new flat, we can combine your move with an IKEA collection on the same trip — ask about our IKEA + delivery add-on.

Do you offer student moves between Madrid and other Spanish cities?

Yes. Students finishing a year abroad and returning to Barcelona, Valencia, or Seville, or moving to Madrid from another city, are a regular part of our work. Fixed prices for student long-distance moves are lower than full household removal rates because the volume is typically one room's worth.
